Hosting & Backups

Your installation of BHC is hosted in the cloud, on a modern and secure Virtual Private Server, with some of the fastest and most reliable hardware and software available.

"Hosting in the cloud" also means you have no hardware limits.  As your agency grows, we can easily and instantly add space, memory, even extra processors to your server, making sure you have the best performance at all times.

Additionally, your installation of BHC is backed up at least once per day, so in the unlikely event of a problem, you'll be back online as quickly as possible.

Security

Server:

• We utilize server datacenters featuring SOC-2 and/or SOC-3 security ratings, the highest ratings in the industry.
• The servers themselves are secured with various human and technological safeguards.  
• Additionally, each server is physically locked within a cage.
• All data is transmitted to and from BHC using modern SSL certificate protection.
• Access to the server and database is restricted by SSH Private Key authentication, featuring the highest degrees of industry-standard protection.

HIPAA Compliance:

• BHC's robust file & data encryption system, as well as user-management, ensures HIPAA compliance and security.
• As required by HIPAA, BHC automatically logs users out due to inactivity, and keeps track of every action a user takes in the system.
• All secure mail is encrypted, unlike regular email.  HIPAA is incompatible with basic email services (like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc), since patient data must be encrypted at all times.  With BHC, you never have to worry.
