OCD Texas (http://ocdtexas.org/) held their annual conference on Saturday, October 13th at the Hilton Post Oak Galleria in Houston, TX and Behavioral Health Connection, LLC was among those in attendance. Behavioral Health Connection, LLC was granted the opportunity to discuss the importance of OCD, and how our innovative EMR software, (BHC Portal), can assist with Integrated Assessments, Notes, & Billing. The need for electronic medical records (EMRs) designed specifically for those suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues has never been greater. Patients living with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases are twice more likely to suffer from depression than the general population. By encouraging the use of electronic medical record technology by behavioral health providers, we can improve care coordination and behavioral health integration.
